Project Overview
My project was to help out people who are struggling in life while I start up a business. I had always enjoyed going to the thrift shops but I never thought about turning it into a mini business. I started out by creating accounts on websites where I could sell my thrifting finds. These were websites like eBay, Grailed, and Sideline Swap. Now the only thing left for me to do was go find rare things at thrift shops like Savers and Goodwill. For every item I sold, I gave up to 5% of the profit to many GoFundMe's that help out local families in CT in need of essentials.
Collaboration
I Collaborated with a few people throughout this project.
I collaborated the most with Michael Ryan. Michael is my business partner throughout this project. We are always non-stop communicating ideas to each other to help our business grow.
I pitched my idea to my co-worker Spencer Ances. He was able to give me good advice on ways to start up a company and gave me great advice on thrifting to help gain money for the business.
My family was one of the biggest collaborators. They would help look for me when they went out shopping if there was anything inexpensive for sale. They also were there to help me with ideas on starting and growing a business.
