Project Overview

Cold Cases with Kelly is going to be a series of informational videos, all on true crime cold cases. Cold cases are crimes that have happened in the past, most of the ones i'm doing happened in the 1900s, so that I can shed light on the ones that happened so long ago not many people know about them. I hope to accomplish when i'm done with this project just overall learning about the cold cases, and to hopefully bring peace to the victims so that they know someone still cares about bringing some sort of justice to the victims and family. I chose this project because I LOVE true crime! Its a big passion of mine, and I find it so interesting, and I knew all of my classmates and everyone else would find it very enjoyable .

Collaboration

During this project I haven't received very much feedback from my classmates, but Mrs. Shuhart has given me great feedback through out the entire progress of my PIP. She has helped me to find some things that i can tweek to make sure that they are perfect, and that they make sense. My parents have also been super helpful during this project, my mom watched my videos right away, and she has read all of my scripts to make sure they make sense. My dad has helped me come up with ideas, and was very involved with my final film. I didn't end up working with any outside sources, because it just was going to become too complicated. Overall, all of the feedback and help I have received while doing this project has been great.

Kelly Buban

Hi! I'm Kelly Buban, and i'm 14 years old and I go to Woodbury Middle School, and live in Woodbury CT. I'm an only child, and I have a dog named Ozzie, he's the best. I love to read, but one of my main passions is swimming. I'm a competitive swimmer, and have been for the past 7 years. I've been state champion, and regional champion! I love to travel, and I want to see and go everywhere that I can when I'm older. I also LOVE Criminal Minds, which is part of the reason I chose to do my PIP on real life cold cases. For about the past four years, I have loved murder mysteries, and true crime, and all of that type of stuff, and I have always been very interested by it. When I came up with the idea for my PIP, I knew it was going to be really fun, and that I should do it!
