Project Overview
My project is called Good news with Gracie. I am making a talk show were I share good news stories from around the world. I am also going interview a front line worker or someone who has helped spread good news in the community. By the end of this project, I hope to have a series of episodes tracking the stories I've shared and people I've interviewed. I think I chose this project because it helps other people besides myself. Sharing kindness and good, always make people happy. I want my project to inspire and change mindsets of people around me. Yeah, right now we are all dealing with a lot. Some of us and locked inside having to quarantine, others are in the hospital testing positive for COVID-19. I want this to bright peoples day.
Collaboration
Lots of different people have collaborated with me through this project. One night at dinner I was talking to my family about my project and what I was thinking about doing. They loved the idea and we got out a piece of paper and a pen and started writing down ideas for me. Who I should interview and stories I could share. My family has also helped me get in contact with people to interview. For example, my dad knows Mr. Taylor, he is someone I interview in the first episode. My dad gave me his email and we scheduled a time to talk. Also my Capstone class has been very helpful. When I needed to record something for my video, they would stop working on their project for a few minutes to help me with mine. I hope that I can repay that kindness when they need it. I don't think I would be in the place that I am with this project without my family and friends.
