Project Overview
I have been interested in shoes and clothing for some years now. When I joined this class and learned that we could make our own project of growth throughout the year I decided to do a clothing business. My business is a second hand store in which I thrift or buy clothing and resell it. When my company starts to make profit I plan on donating 5% of each sale to a non-profit organization such as GoodWill.
Collaboration
I have collaborated with some people over the months for my project.
I have a friend who started his own clothing line and so I asked him for help when it came to selling, advertising, etc. Tips on how to start a clothing business.
I also have multiple friends that thrift and so I asked them where the best spots are to go to buy clothes. This helped me build up inventory and understand the "art" of thrifting vintage and stylish clothing to sell or keep.
