Project Overview
This project followed the steps my dad took me on to help him in finishing his friends basement, applying all of the knowledge I had learned through my entire school experience. The first parts of the job were not as difficult as I expected because it was basically just using skills I used everyday in school like taking exact measurements and estimating where certain materials can be re-used, just on a very large scale with not much room for error. However as we got more involved in the project there were certain parts where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, such as installing the electrical circuit breaker and outlets on all the walls. In the end, my dad's friend was extremely excited with the result and couldn't wait to move in and I feel like I learned a great amount of useful information I will able to apply in other projects that I try and complete on my own.
