The cheesecake was a success! It tasted like the one you would get from a bakery. I did change up the recipe a bit as I was missing a few things, but that didn't change the recipe much. It was really fun cooking the cake and I would make it again. The only thing I would advise is that the cream cheese gets really messy so you will want to be careful.
This week I will be making cheesecake. I am really feeling hungry for a cake this week, and instead of just buying it, why not make it myself? It will be a fun experience if I do.
The overall product was a success in how I viewed it. I got my family to try it the next day and they said they really liked it a lot. If I had a chance to do this again, I would try to fix up the sugar glass. It is hard to make with this method because the sugar burns quickly. Other than that, the creme itself was very good, and I would recommend making it again.
This week I want to try making creme brulee. I always knew that the sugar glass creme brulee would be hard to make, as I knew it required a certain set of tools. But I found on my recommendation page online that there was a recipe that didn't require any unique tools. So I decided to attempt to create this myself.
The final product was pretty good, they genuinely taste like french fries you would get from a restaurant. While there is a lot of room for improvement as I think I could do a lot better next time. If you are making this recipe, a recommendation is to make the size right as I tested the cuts. Very thin pieces tend to burn up, leaving burnt parts. Thick pieces are still good but don't have the french fry taste, but rather a baked potato taste.
This week I plan on making french fries. While it isn't the best food, it is the one I've always wanted to do, as when we usually make fries, they often go wrong. I plan on finding a good way to make them by trying this recipe.
This week I created the brownies following the steps of the recipe. Overall the brownies were really good despite having to use brown sugar. The texture and taste went well, at the end, which worked out well.
This week I will be making a dessert. I will be making brownies as I thought it would be a good idea too and are always good.
This week I made bread, I altered a bit off the originally planned recipe and used a different one my dad had that didn't know existed. in the end, it was very easy to cook this as well as fun too. The bread tasted and looked good at the end which I am easily proud of and the rest of my family thought the same about it.
This week I continue where I left off last week. I have all the needed ingredients to create a loaf of bread. The process takes a few hours so it is important to make sure that you get the timing right.
This week, I found out that maple sap could now be harvested as the temperatures have increased. I postponed the bread to next week as I'm more interested in this and felt it would be more entertaining this week. Overall, the candy and syrup turned out well, the syrup did have a weird color, but searching online I found out it depends on the maple tree type. The candy was good but it was eaten by my sister before I had the chance to take a picture, indicating it went well.
This week I plan on making my own bread from scratch. I want to test something new by creating something new from just basic ingredients as a test.
I cooked up the smash burger today. I enjoyed the burger more than I expressed in the video after having a few bites afterward. Overall the idea itself is simple, but what brings out the recipe is what you implement into it. I put lettuce, barbeque with honey mustard, blue cheese, tomatoes, and lastly miracle whip. If you are ever having a cookout I would highly recommend this recipe as it is fast, and tastes good. (You may need to download the video to watch it)

This week I plan on making something different, I heard about it a few months ago. A smashed burger, this recipe is like making a burger which I have never done before, so I plan on making the base product but also spicing it up even more.
Today I followed the recipe and made cookies. Overall, it turned up pretty good and I genuinely liked it, the only concern I had was I lacked eggs as they disappeared during the day, but I made up for it by adding 1/4 more of butter to the original recipe. Besides that though, the recipe is great for both cookies and cookie dough.
This week I will be trying something new, I will be baking cookies. The chocolate chips I'm using contain a recipe for baking cookies. I will be attempting to make this recipe as I have all the ingredients in my house and cookies are something different. (PDF is for an enlarged version of image)
This week, I combined what I learned from last week to improve it, I made a breakfast wrap with typical ingredients you can find in a house. Although it can be anything, I chose what I liked and what I had in my house. Overall the end product was very good, the only thing I could improve on is maybe getting a bigger wrap size as it was kind of too big to wrap around. Also, I forgot to say this in the video but sour cream is really good with it too as I didn't add it on camera.
This week I will be cooking an egg wrap, it consists of the basic ingredients of an egg, (any form cooked) a tortilla, and a sauce for the bare minimum, you can add to this other ingredients, an Idea I have is including tomatoes and if I have it, lettuce/spinach to make it like a breakfast wrap.
Today I made the pasta, I decided that I was going to use things around the house that sounded good for the sauce, overall, I genuinely really liked it, it went better than I thought it would, although this idea could be improved if I do get more ingredients.
This week I plan on making pasta, I haven't fully decided on the sauce yet, but I plan on using what I have in my house right now, to make it a meal that can be made in most households, the process will involve boiling the pasta, and then making the sauce on the side
Today I cooked a pork chop, it was pretty good, very simple but good, but what the accomplishment today is that I managed to safely cook a slice of meat again, both no kitchen accidents with mixing hot oil with water and also making sure it is edible which is the main goal to practice the skills.
Right now I plan on cooking pork chops, I gathered the ingredients and prepare to cook tomorrow, since I learned last time with the chicken, I know what to do and not to do
Today, I create the quesadilla, I substitute the chicken for different meat as I remembered chorizo and other meats like that go really well, overall the final product tasted very good, and it also was not stressful to make, as most of the ingredients are common household items and don't cost alot
I plan on cooking chicken quesadillas without any references tomorrow, with the chicken working well before, I plan on combining what I have learned, this is also a good cook as it can be classified as both a budget and a project in which the ingredients are almost always available. (Chicken is not in the picture as it is not dethawed)
Honestly, this went alot better then I expected, I know eggs are very simple to make, but I was really pleased with the final product, but also the time it took, it tasted very good, nothing was raw, and it felt like a very normal meal, which to me is an accomplishment, as it proves I can make something that tasted pretty good. It was also pretty fun cooking it too, stirring the eggs, then adding them into the bowl, and lastly frying them on the pan.
I gather all the ingredients for scrambled eggs. what is best about this is all the ingredients are affordable, and generally already found in most houses, which I can categorize this as a budget and common meal
As the next week approaches, I plan on cooking something still simple, but that is a bit harder than the chicken, I plan on cooking scrambled eggs, incorporating a chicken cooked on a pan, as well as some veggies, both to improve my skills, and for a nice healthy fulfilling meal that I will enjoy.
NOTE: Picture is not my final product, but what I intend for it to look like
While I did manage to cook the chicken well last week where it actually tasted decent, I did realize I needed to learn a lot of things to keep caution of, I made it a priority today to step back a bit and learn the ingredients I shouldn't mix together while cooking. As a result of last week, mixing hot olive oil and water, nearly causing a huge problem that could have been easily avoided.
I cooked my first piece of chicken ever, while there were some issues at first, I managed to deal with these problems with the help of my brother, who knows cooking basics to help supervise. While the chicken was very salty, what was important is that I managed to nail down the proper texture, making it perfectly cooked and safe.
Before I cook, the one last step is to gather the ingredients, what I will be making is a honey garlic chicken, a good starting recipe to practice basic skills before advancing onto more complex recipes.
As we get closer to January 8th, I begin to take note of what I have, so I can begin without problems, in this case, I have begun to look at the pots and pans that I have currently and keeping note of them.
Before we begin to cook, we must learn the safety and proper preparation of a kitchen before its use, using this source, I begin to learn about the proper use of the kitchen.
While it isn't really too much right now, we start off with creating our logo
