Final Logo Update (a few changes)
A few things here have changed... My art style? I believe it has one-hundred percent improved since I first started to draw on the iPad. Newer pieces of art have been added to the sides and my hair color has changed since I first drew myself. I will continue to practice drawing even after this project is done because this is something I genuinely enjoy doing and plan to do something with when I go to college.
Badd 2.0 - Expression Practice
I recently drew this character while on vacation with my mom. I'm quite happy with how he came out and decided to use this opportunity to practice some facial expressions. (Badd is the character's name)

The Final Product
(The reason for the emojis on the cover photo and video is due to guns being shown) This project was to create a bumper sticker on whether you're pro-gun control or against it. My stance on the topic is that it is not the gun that is the problem, it is the person handling it.

Another Prac Law Project!?
Now, this is only a draft, but it does have to be finished by Friday's class. The project is to create a bumper sticker that relates to your standpoint on gun control. There will be no comic for this week since I really just want to take a week off from drawing, (besides this project that has to get done).
Time lapse of The Prac Law Project
So I decided to make the comic only two pages long for my project, and was able to turn it in before grades were due! I meant to read it aloud but unfortunately, I am sick currently and not at all in the mood to read or stay on my computer much longer. I am proud of how this came out though, and I'm starting to see clear changes in my art style as I progress throughout this year.

Second Frame of my Prac Law Project
(Unfinished), but I thought I'd show how I'm coming along on this project. I didn't finish when I wanted to but I'm becoming stricter with myself and plan to finish by tonight.
Preview of my Prac Law Project!
So this is one of my projects for my Practical Law class. We had a choice of making a project any way we wanted to so I chose to draw mine out. For the actual project, I chose to illustrate the Mediation process, (where two people are in an argument and a third person steps in). I plan to have this fully completed by the end of the weekend.

An Uplifting Message
I recently drew this because I wanted to let out any bad or negative feelings I've been having recently. But instead of drawing something negative, I drew this hand reaching out of the depths. "Reach for the stars" implies that even when things aren't as good as they seem to be, you must continue on no matter what happens.
Art Block
Well, it happens to the best of us. This art piece really has no meaning, more or less it was created out of boredom and curiosity. Sometimes artists just don't know what to draw, and that is completely okay. :)

New Comic Coming This Week
*Since it is only the beginning of the week, I have only begun planning out what I want to draw. As the week progresses, we will see if anything interesting or inspirational happens.
How My Week Went
This is my first time using the original Procreate brush - It was Procreates' tenth birthday and on Instagram, they posted a link to the original brushes. For this comic, I decided to draw about my week, so I hope you enjoy :)
(*I'm not fully sure if the song I used is copyright-free. if it isn't I'll change it)

Just a little reminder :)
(Badd is a character name, the chemical formula is for serotonin)
So I recently drew this when I wasn't feeling too good. I drew this so I had somewhere to look back upon and remind myself of all the good I have. I'm posting this here just in case I ever need a quick reminder, and if you ever need one too :)
Third Comic!!!
I decided to create a quick little comic based on in-person learning versus online learning, In the video, I explained why in-person works better for me versus online/remote learning. So far throughout the year I actually have noticed my art style and personal character improving by a lot. I'm quite excited to see how much further I've gone by the time May rolls around.

New Logo!!!
So I have decided to switch up my logo since the old one was a bit too bland. It is also no longer 2020, so that definitely needed an update. This one features me, my initials following the year it currently is, and a few pieces that I am really proud of.
Second Comic!
It's here!! I title this comic, "Tired". It is about the struggles of online school when I used to be doing hybrid work and from when covid first hit. In the end, I decided to ignore all the negativity and only focus on the positivity to keep me going.

Guess What is Coming Tomorrow!!
I'm really sorry for such a big delay on this comic posting. I sort of took like a week off from drawing all together to focus on mental health. But don't worry, I am back and better than ever! I hope you'll enjoy what I have to offer for tomorrow and once again I apologize for such a huge delay.
Comic WIll Be Uploaded Monday - I apologize for the delay
Well, I am pretty disappointed in myself right now. I have been working on this comic for around two days and I won't be able to finish it on time for tonight's deadline. Please expect by Monday I will have a video in for the comic since I am devoting this weekend to solely work on it instead of only working on it late at night with little to no sleep.

New Comic Down Below!
Look down below! Currently working on another comic and it shall be posted tomorrow. This one is about my personal schedule, and what I need to fix in order to work with the new half-day every-day schedule at school.
First Comic + Bloopers!!
Finally got around to making my first comic since I've finalized my character. I think it came out pretty well but could use some improvement in some areas like readability and the structure. I'm overall pretty happy with how it came out. The video included has me read the comic aloud plus some added bloopers when things wouldn't cooperate with me.

Final OC for Comic
Ok so, I'm pretty sure this is my final character design before I start making the comic. -I previously mentioned creating a comic about school and all these pandemic shenanigans going on. I am currently working on a draft of one right now and that should be in for tomorrow's post.
Quick Character Sketch
Yes I know this looks silly, but I'm trying to develop more of a cartoon style when it comes to drawing. Not everything I produce is going to be 100% top notch. I will be working on this character every day until this project is fully due, and even afterward. Drawing is my passion, and I will overcome any obstacle that is thrown my way. (*Note, the character is cross-eyed because in real life, I have lazy eye).
Character Change and Video
I decided to add this character to become my main character to portray me. I also added a quick mini-tour of my Procreate app to show what I've drawn and what I am currently working on. You can also hear my voice which is a plus. Don't mind the little things my cousins drew, they're not as important - to my project.

A Pretty Eye
Here is the final product of the eye I drew. I’m actually quite proud of it since it was one of the more difficult pieces I’ve done. Took me about 6 hours the first day and then about 2 hours each day since then-it’s been about three days since. I know it’s not perfect, but I’m really impressed with how it came out. I even showed it to my Spanish teacher and she thought I photo edited it. I finally started exploring new brushes and settings with this piece, as you can tell throughout the timelapse in the previous post.
Something I'm Quite Proud Of
So I was on YouTube recently, looking for random inspiration to draw, and I came across this very realistic eye. I watched the video once or twice and went straight to my iPad to try to do it by myself. I drew this based on memory and no knowledge of what brushes to use. Since I can't post twice a day, the final product will be the next post below, (hence why there's an arrow to the left). This will also be my last timelapse for a while since I want to try out other ways to video my progress. During this video, you can see the many errors and random things I tried out while drawing. I'd consider this to be one of the more difficult things I have drawn. But I'm really proud of how it came out, even though I still have a little bit more to touch up on.

Time lapse of a random practice sketch
* Just a reminder that these quick sketches are far from being perfect. This video is a good example of such. Since this process is mostly trial and error, there are a lot of errors. For one, the mouth ended up becoming the eye(s). I was attempting to draw a mouth semi-open with the teeth showing, but I tried adding a little dot in the middle for fun, and I decided it just looked better as an eye - for now. (This piece also isn't fully finished, as it is also still a work in progress).

Random Nose and Mouth practice
So as most of us do get bored from time to time, we usually find something to preoccupy us. For me, it is drawing. These few sketches are just quick and solely for practice only. I used only the Procreate Pencil for my brush and used shading to add depth where it was needed. These aren't supposed to be top-notch, but should be enough to boost my confidence in my ever so developing art style.
Quick Animation Portraying Mental Health
(Thumbnail is the final scene where I accidentally made it too small to see) Since my last animation didn't run by so smoothly, I made this one portraying mental illness. Please don't come at me for this. It was made solely to raise awareness for people with it, as well as another reason for me to get out of bed each day. This was also made to show others what I used to and still go through on a daily basis. I apologize for the bad video recording, I had to record in my room so my dad couldn't see what I was doing. (Animation is not finished, but I will likely finish it when I get the chance to).

Just a quick sketch of myself - but in a different style
Here is a quick sketch of myself I did, but in my friends' art style. It was something I just wanted to experiment with - as if ever my art style does change or develop into something similar to this.
Quick Sketch!
Now a quick reminder, this wasn't meant to come out amazing. I make quick sketches just to practice different brushes on Procreate. And don't worry, I don't think that face shape is going to stay that way. I attached a time-lapse of the quick sketch to this post. You can click it if you'd like.

Christmas Haul!
I know that my goal was to work more on my digital art, but I couldn't help to share that I got FOUR NEW SKETCHBOOKS + coloured pencils/charcoal pencils. This is huge for me. Not only can I start experimenting with different textures, but I can transfer that knowledge onto Procreate to improve my overall art style.
Reference Drawing
For some background, here is one of the art pieces I made when quarantine started. It's of this boy I was friends with for a long time and we recently decided to stop being friends. I drew this as a way to cope with the loss. This is here now as a reference to my old work.
Reference Drawing
Another quick reference for myself when I created this last year on my way back from the Mission Trip for church. The final of this drawing is on my Discover! section.
Finger Practice
(This will be a two part post) Since I have trouble drawing hands, mouths and fingers - here I practiced drawing different fingers and positions. This is so I can eventually add these to a hand, and then so forth.
Thumb Practice
Here is the thumb. For me, this is the hardest finger to draw just based on the position it’s in and how to connect it to the hand itself. (Next is to practice drawing the hand, which will be a bit more difficult since I have to learn how to make the fingers and hands look semi realistic- and then connect them together without making it look wacky).
