Eating a healthy meal alongside workouts is essential if you want to main , lose or gain the weight to fit the body type you. want to achieve. Lately I have been recording my the foods I have been eating swell as my workouts. Today two healthy snacks I had were peanuts and chocolate chips and grilled chicken and brown rice.

This entire week I have been taking a break from the gym until tomorrow. My trainer wants to see how my body looks without working out for a while. I'm excited because I have a lot of energy saved up in me from the past couple of days and to be honest I miss the gym. It has become apart of my life now!

With summer right around the corner it isn't any excuse for me to stop training as hard as I have been. Doing school from Jamaica means summer will be in Jamaica. I will be going to the beach a lot. With that said, I have always been conscious of my body and have worn T-shirts over my swimsuits. This summer I will not be doing that. I will be making an effort to keep the gym a priority. I will stay Fit and Fabulous throughout summer!

Today was exciting! I brought a group of my guy friends to the gym and challenged them to workout with me. I realized some things I was stronger at that they were not. I feel empowered and that women can be stronger than men sometimes as long as the work is put in.

To be honest today I was very lazy and exhausted. I did not want to work out at all. Although when I got to the gym my trainer lifted me. up out the car took me inside and told me to get to work and I did. Now I can tell you I feel much better that I pushed myself.I did legs and glutei today and let me tell you it was not easy!

Today I did a intense back workout and my trainer took a video of me to show the progress of my back muscles. The weight I was using was 3x the amount I was used to. So I know my upper body is getting stronger every week. To be honest I feel so much stronger and better about myself.

Today is full body day. I will be targeting glutes mainly because that is where my trainer thinks I need the most work. I will no longer be eating any sugar for the next couple of weeks so that my belly fat reduces. Wish me luck! I will need it because I have a sweet tooth!

Monday is leg day! Today has been rough already and I have more to work on later. However its the best day because it's the start of the week and one step closer to my goals. I have been getting compliments everyday back to back about how great I look which is awesome. A parent asked me if I had eating problems because I lost weight so fast and she's been trying forever. I told her I became consistent and it became apart of my life. It's no longer a chore for me, it's now something I can't go the day without.

At the gym today I increased my weights for my workout by a lot. I went from hip thrusting no weights to 30 pounds. Then today I did 55 pounds. I feel better, stronger, I can see also see a change in my body swell as everyone else. I am getting compliments from people in the gym telling me I look smaller and to share my secret, I tell them the secret is consistency. Through this project I have found that consistency really is key!

It was a really rainy day today so I figured why not do full body workouts outside because of the cool weather. My trainer and I realized I've gotten more fit over the past couple of weeks because the things I couldn't lift I know can. The distances I once could not take on I now can. I honestly feel like a changed human being.

Today I will be doing legs and glutes. I've been focusing on my upper body for the past 2 weeks so I decided to get back on track with my lower body so I don't lose any of the progress I've already completed. Getting closer and closer to my deadline, my trainer has made things harder for me. Therefore I'm not looking forward today :(

From my last post I spoke about how I have been trying to incorporate upper body exercises into my routine. Since then I've been focusing only on upper body to improve my figure. With that being said, my trainer gave me weights and exercises to complete. Although the weight looks small, I promise you after the amount of reps and sets he gave me I felt like superwoman after !

Today's workout will be surrounded by PUSH day. Which means upper body. Closer and closer to the deadline I realize my upper body needs a lot of work. Therefore I have incorporated a lot of upper body workouts in my workout routine. As of this week I have started doing pushups. I plan on starting with 5 reps then continuing till I have reached a max. By the end of the month I want to be able to do 100 reps. However as of right now, today I will try to do 40 reps consistently.

Today I performed a 60 minute walk. It was completely stress relieving. I have been stressed with school and college applications that this walk felt like heaven to me. While completing my daily exercise I was relaxing. I think I'll start incorporating walking more into my daily routines.

I haven't been incorporating arm workouts into my routines. The more days that get closer to the deadline, I start to look at my body more. Especially the before and after. My arms need toning, especially my back. So my trainer made me do rope exercises to train both back and arm muscles.

Due to the current pandemic my family and I have to quarantine for two weeks. Therefore I went outside and walked my dog up and down the complex for 60 minutes. You would think walking for 60 minutes is easy. It's not. It feels like a slow burn and you're feet get so tired ! I cannot imagine if I did this walk a couple of months ago when I wasn't fit. I probably wouldn't have been able to complete it and give up easily.

This week I've been feeling really unproductive. I did not want to do anything for the longest time. However towards the end of the week I started to push myself. I did tire flips, one of the hardest workouts because I figured if I could do the hardest thing then all the other workouts would feel like nothing to me.

I haven't been feeling too well all day. However I made a commitment to do this project and I must follow through and stay consistent. My body was too weak to workout so instead I walked up and down in my neighborhood for 30 mins. It was more difficult than it looks because of the steep hills. Through all this I pushed through and walked for 30 minutes straight and watched some Netflix while I did to make the walk more enjoyable.

Today I did a full body workout. It wasn't easy at all! Instead of my regular trainer, training me, my mom did. She is a past bodybuilder and is currently my nutritionist. As you can see in the video she did not take it easy on me.

I felt super energetic today especially at the beginning of my workout. Closer towards the end of my workout I started getting more and more tired.I realized it was because I was s o focused on making the video instead of eating breakfast. When breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day!

I realized I started liking yoga a lot and it's increased the flow of air when I'm running. So I decided to share a video of me doing yoga. I made a small snippet of me doing everything! I'm not. as flexible yet which is something I. want to improve on. After doing research I found that yoga helps with blood circulation. Not only do. I want to look better physically I. want to also know my body is healthy so this is something I will be continuing.

So this week I decided to add a picture instead of video because sometimes a picture can show more than a video can. I have been exercising a ton but one thing I haven't really shown you is how generally fit I am getting. The picture I attached is of me doing yoga. The stretches I have been doing have made me 10x more flexible than I ever was. Overall I am more fit and I feel better :)

I decided to workout at home instead of the gym because the weather was so nice. However I did not think about how hot I would get from the Sun. This made my workout 10x harder and I guarantee you I was dying. I felt like giving up which is why I'm dragging myself so much in the video. But I didn't give up which is a big step for me.

Working out has become not just a task I dread to complete anymore. Now I'm much more used to it. It's week 4 and I feel so different. I'm getting compliments from people in my gym which is boosting my self confidence. I feel so different ! I feel like a new person. This day I did abs. I took a small video for you to see. It was annoying but I cant explain how good I felt after.

I worked alongside my sister and got the job done. It was extremely hard. Lifting tires are very heavy. However 'm getting stronger day by day and losing weight.

Its only Tuesday and week 3 has been really, almost extremely hard for me. My trainer has been giving me some of the most difficult exercises I have ever encounter in my entire life. Besides the pain, I do have to say I feel amazing. I feel like a new person!
